one of its solutions specialists, was named Industry Member of the Year by the Washington
Metropolitan (Capital District) Postal Customer Council (WMPCC). The Leadership Award was
made on September 15, 2010 as part of National Postal Customer Council (PCC) Day, a U.S.
Postal Service event recognizing the outstanding contributions of mailers, industry partners
and customers. The WMPCC is part of the National PCC, a formal network of business mailers
and postal representatives who meet regularly to exchange ideas, create closer working
relationships and improve service.
Cordone has served on the WMPCC since its formation. Among her many contributions, Cordone
assisted local preparations for the 2010 National PCC Day by developing and overseeing
production of marketing materials as well as an event agenda. In recognition of her efforts,
Cordone received a certificate and high praise at the award ceremony.
