DIRECTMAIL.COM NOW OFFERS CO-PALLETIZATION TO CLIENTS
Prince Frederick, MD – DirectMail.com, a leading direct mail and data services provider, announces their USPS approval to participate in the national co-palletization program. With co-palletization, clients are ensured reduced postage costs and faster delivery.
“The post office has hit a home run with this program. For clients whose standard/non-profit mail does not qualify for SCF entry, this program allows BMC & local entry qualified mail to receive SCF rates. Our clients will recognize huge postage savings along with faster mail delivery. It’s a win-win for everyone involved,” says Shawn R. Salta, Director of New Business Development.
Co-palletization takes smaller quantities of tray mail from multiple mailings, sorts them and combines them to create full pallets. Instead of mail entering upstream at higher postage rates, co-palletized mail enters the post office through SCFs (Sectional Center Facilities), qualifying mail for greater postal discounts. Because co-palletized mail enters deeper into the mail system, there is less opportunity for mail to be mishandled or delayed. Unlike normal mail, co-palletized mail has end-to-end visibility with delivery confirmation and track and trace so clients know where their mail is and when it arrives at its destination.
